A watercraft that is not controlled by onboard personnel. Control may be via signals from a remote location or autonomous via programmed mission data incorporating artificial intelligence or a combination of the two types. It may be a submarine, a surface craft, or it may be semisubmersible. It may have low detectability features and may perform various functions including, but not limited to attack, mine countermeasures, surveillance, reconnaissance and/or intelligence gathering.
