A unit that provides a custom interface between the MODULE CONTROLLER UNIT,MISSILE LAUNCHER and its corresponding missile in a Vertical Launching System. It is responsible for emulating a weapon which is compliant with the Common Launcher Interface, while providing the weapon interface with appropriate signal levels based on the legacy weapons design and Common Launcher architecture requirements. When a missile stowed within a module is selected for firing, it controls the sequence for missile power-up, initialization, and launch.
