항공기 검사 및 관련된 전자기 무선간섭 검사에 사용되는 장치. 이장치는 항공기가 거친 기후조건, 즉 얼음, 눈, 진눈깨비, 구름 및 모래 폭풍속을 날아갈때 실제 대기의 무선간섭을 실험하기 위해 항공기의 외부표면에 국지적인 높은 전압을 유도함. 피토관 및 정전기 계통 시험기는 제외함.

A device used to test aircraft and associated test objects for precipitation static electromagnetic interference (EMI). It induces a localized, high voltage static charge onto the outer skin of the aircraft (or other test article) to simulate actual atmospheric precipitation static conditions that may occur when flying through harsh changing weather conditions such as ice, snow, sleet, cloud and sand storms. Excludes:TESTER, PITOT AND STATIC SYSTEMS.
