함선으로부터 대원의 신속한 철수를 쉽게 하도록 설계된 후송 시스템. 이 시스템은 하나 이상의 구명 뗏목, 슈트 및 저장 장치로 이루어져있고 함선의 선체에 설치되거나 고정된 덱이다. 활성화되면 시스템은 미끄러져 나가 물 표면으로 떨어진다. 시스템이 낙하되면서 망원 슈트가 당겨져 열리고 하나 이상의 자급식 뗏목이 자동적으로 팽창된다. 대원은 에워싸인 슈트를 통해 철수되어 구명 뗏목으로 옮겨진다.

An evacuation system designed to facilitate the rapid evacuation of personnel from a ship. It comprises one or more life raft, chute and storage unit and may be deck mounted or set into the hull of the ship. When activated the system slides out and falls to the surface of the water. As it falls, telescopic chutes are pulled open and one or more self-contained rafts are automatically inflated. Personnel evacuate via enclosed chutes and are delivered into the life raft.
