항공기 조종 케이블 계통 품목으로서 금속 고리, 슬리브 또는 양 끝단에 나사산이 파져있거나 한쪽 끝은 나사산이 파져있고 반대쪽 끝은 스위블을 연결할 수 있도록 설계된 고체 품목으로 이루어져 있다. 양 끝단에 나사산이 파져 있는 품목의 경우, 한쪽 끝은 오른 나사 나사산을, 반대쪽 끝은 왼 나사 나사산을 갖고 있다. 이것은 턴버클의 구성품이다.

An aircraft control cable system item consisting of a metal loop, sleeve or solid item having both ends threaded or one end threaded and the other end designed to accommodate a swivel. Items with both ends threaded shall have right-hand screw threads on one and left-hand screw threads on the other. It is a component of TURNBUCKLE.
