자체 완비식 실린더로부터 잠수부에게 산소 및/ 또는 가스 혼합물을 제공하는 휴대용 호흡장치의 폐쇄형 또는 반 폐쇄형 장비이다. 이 품목은 배기된 가스로부터 나온 탄산가스를 제거하고 잠수부가 호흡할 수 있도록 산소 및/ 또는 가스 혼합물을 추가 시켜준다. 원래 이 품목은 한 개 또는 그 이상의 실린더, 호흡낭 및 이와 유사 품목으로 구성되었다. ‘호흡 장비, 자체 완비식 호흡 장치, 산소 발생기’는 제외한다.

A portable respiratory closed or semi-closed device which provides oxygen and/or gas mixture to the user from self-contained cylinder(s). It eliminates carbon dioxide from exhaled gas and adds to it oxygen and/or gas mixture in order to be breathed by the user. It primarily consists of one or more cylinder,an absorber canister,a breathing bag,and the like. Excludes:BREATHING APPARATUS,SELF-CONTAINED and BREATHING APPARATUS,OXYGEN GENERATING.
