원통형의 금속기구, 보통 L형이며 수동조작됨. 돌리면, 사용치 않을때 옆으로 움직이지 않도록 채워져서 걸림쇠가 잠기게 됨. 총기의 횡동에 대하여 걸림쇠가 자유롭도록 지입형 걸림쇠의 홈이나 홈선으로 짝지워지도록 한쪽끝이 홈진 위치가 되도록 핸들의 회전을 막음.
품명정의(영문)
A cylindrical, metallic item, usually L-shaped and manually operated. When rotated, it locks the PINTLE, MOUNT to prevent its lateral movement when not in use. Reverse rotation of the handle causes the notched portion on one side of it to mate with the slot or groove of the PINTLE, MOUNT, freeing the pintle for lateral movement of the gun.
