내부 이(로우브)를 가진 바깥쪽 치차와 외부 이(로우브)를 가진 안쪽 치차의 두치차로 구성된 펌프 회전자 또는 임펠러. 안쪽 치차는 바깥치차보다 하나나 둘 적은 잇수를 가지며 바깥치 차와 편심적으로 맞물리게 설치되었다. 서로 물리는 두개의 치차의 이사이의 공간으로 회전펌프의 입구에서 출구로 유체가 흐르게 한다.
품명정의(영문)
A pump rotor or impeller consisting of two gears, the outer gear having internal teeth (lobes) and the inner gear having external teeth (lobes). The inner gear has one or two teeth less than the outer gear, and is mounted to mesh eccentric with the outer gear. The space between the teeth of the two meshing gears creates a positive displacement of fluids from the inlet port to the outlet port of the rotary pump.
