두개의 밸브 결합체로서 하나는 스톱밸브, 다른 하나는 스톱체크밸브이며 한 본체에 장치되거나 볼트로 장치된 서로 다른 본체에 장치된다. 보일러에 들어가는 물의 유입을 제어하고 보일러로 부터 물이나 증기가 되돌아 나오는 것을 방지하며 스톱체크밸브와 증기 드럼 또는 절약기 사이의 유입선을 막아주는 수단을 제공하는데 사용된다.

A combination of two valves, one a stop valve, the other a stop check valve, either in the same body, or in separate bodies bolted together, used to control the admission of feed water to a boiler, to prevent the return of water or steam from the boiler, and to provide a means of shutting off the feed line between the stop check valve and the steam drum or economizer.
