전파 방해술에 대한 레이다 조작병의 훈련 에 사용하기 위하여 공중으로 라디오 주파 수를 발산시키도록 특별히 제작된 완전한 전자품 세트이다. 조작병의 능력을 배양시 키기 위하여 송신기, 수신기, 기록기, 채점기 등 품목들을 갖추고 있다. 설계특성상 실제적인 전파방해에는 사용할 수 없다. 레이다 세트의 지시계와 같은 다른 부품에 유선으로 방해전파 신호를 보낼 수 있는 품목으로는 다음을 참조한다. 참조:SIMULATOR,COUNTERMEASURE SIGNALS

A complete electronic set specifically designed to produce radio frequency signals transmitted through the air, to be used in the training of radar set operators or communication set operators in electronic countermeasure techniques and in electronic warfare. It includes items such as transmitters, receivers, recorders, scoring systems, and the like for the evaluation of operator efficiency. The set cannot be used for operational electronic countermeasures signals that are wire-conductec to another component such as radar set indicator, see SIMULATOR, COUNTERMEASURES SIGNALS.
