An indicator for producing the illusion of the three-dimensional display of data such as azimuth, bearing, elevation, position, and/or range of a target on the face of a cathode ray tube. The three-dimensional display is produced by the injection of color contrast by means of electronic circuitry. Excludes:indicators that utilize or include optical filters for the accentuation or suppression of display characteristics.
