차원측정, 물리적 성질 등과 같은 눈금검사 원기의 다른 장을 제공하기 위하여 만든 둘 또는 그 이상의 품목으로 구성된 한 세트이다. 비교로 장원기의 정확도를 결정하는데 쓰인다. 한개 장의 측정에 대한 표준을 제공하는 세트는 다음과 같이 특별한 명칭으로 사용한다. 즉 "전기표준 세트(ELECTRICAL STANDARDS SET)"을 참조한다.

A complete set containing two or more items or groups of items which are designed to provide different fields of calibration standards, such as dimensional measurements, physical properties and the like. It is used to determine by comparison, the accuracy of field standards. For sets which provide standards for a single field of measurement use specific application names such as ELECTRICAL STANDARDS SET.
