단위측정, 물리적성질 그리고 그와같은 눈금검사 판단기준의 다른 장을 제공하기 위하여 설계된 둘 또는 그 이상의 품목 또는 품목의 군으로 된 세트이다.비교로"보정세트, 2차 표준 판단기준 (CALIBRATION SET, SECONDARY REFERENCE STANDARDS)"의 구성품 정확도를 결정하는데 쓰인다. 한개장의 측정에 대한 표준을 제공하는 세트는 다음과 같은 특수명칭을 쓴다. 즉 "전기표준 세트(ELECTRICAL STANDARDS SET)"을 참조한다.

A complete set consisting of two or more items or groups of items which are designed to provide different fields of calibration standards, such as dimensional measurements, physical properties and the like. It is used to determine by comparison, the accuracy of components of CALIBRATION SET, SECONDARY REFERENCE STANDARDS. For sets which provide standards for a single field of measurement use specific application names, such as ELECTRICAL STANDARDS SET.
