A power operated machine designed to be mounted on a LIGHT ARMORED VEHICLE. It is designed to bore holes in the earth by imparting rotary motion to an earth auger bit which is forced downwards either manually or mechanically. It may be designed to bore holes at an angle (other than vertical). It is not capable of boring and removing the earth simultaneously.
