두 부분으로 된 직사각형 비금속제제작장치이다. 직사각형 하우징은 뒷덮개와 금속다리(설치를 위한)가 있는 앞덮개로 구성된다. 휴대용 장비는 6백개 고무공 및 폭발 충진제 집에 제작되었다. MDI(신식파괴체)로 작동될때 터지도록 되있다. 고무볼로부터 찌르는 홀과는 영구적인 물리적 손상없이 개개의 타깃의 무능력, 방향감각상실, 일시적 혼돈을 일으킨다. 보병에 의해 설치된다.

A rectangular nonmetallic fabricated device consisting of two parts. The rectangular housing consists of a front cover with metal legs (for emplacement) and a rear cover. The portable device is designed to house six hundred rubber balls, and explosive charge and packing material. When initiated by the Modernized Demolition Initiator (MDI), it provides a flash/bang effect. The sting effect from the rubber balls causes temporarily confusion, disorientation, and/or incapacitation of the target individual without doing permanent physical damage. It is usually emplaced by dismounted soldiers.
