An item which consists of a caisson containing a swivelling fin guided in its rotative motion by two bearings. The fin has a rear hinged or pivoted section and different functioning systems such as an incidence system, a locking system and a collapsible system. It is mounted on a ship hull to improve its stability when it is at sea.
