A device containing explosives and or pyrotechnics which provides automatic activation, at preset intervals, for aircraft crew member ejection seat escape systems and its subsystems. It may contain logic circuitry to select the best mode of operation based upon speed and altitude at the time of ejection. It also may contain thermal batteries, when activated, provides power to operate timing circuits and initiated electrical impulses that actuate subsystem ballistic devices.
