전자시스템과 광학 위치결정 감지기로 구성된 경사계로써, 전자시스템이 경사졌을 때 그 위치는 탐지되며 검류계가 작동하는 전류로 변환한다. 탐지된 중력 소자에 비례하는 전류는 저항단자로 측정되며 획득된 측정전압은 디지털 표시장치에 앵글값으로 전환된다.

An inclinometer consisting of a pendular system and an optical position sensor. When the pendular system is inclined, it's position is detected and converts in an electric current which actuates a galvanometer. The electric current, which is proportional to the detected gravity component, is measured on a resistance terminal. The calibrated voltage obtained is converted in an angle value on a digital display.
