All Except USA A hand tool which includes, perpendicularly to the handle a head, one or both extremities of which constitute a percussion face. It is used to break the glasses of a vehicle or the like in the event of accident or fire. One part of the head consists of a conical point or diamond. The other part may have any configuration making it possible to drive away the remaining glass pieces on the frame being cleared. Excludes: HAMMER, HAND and MALLET (as modified).
