한쪽 끝에 튜브를 넣도록 고안된 기계식 나사(파이프나 호스류외의 직선나사)를 가진 어댑터로서 비나사진 끝은 튜브를 넣도록 고안되었다. 다른쪽 끝은, 직접 소방호스를 쥐는 나사진 끝 연결구의 불완전한 부품인, 표준호스 나사가 있고 또는 소방호스를 넣도록 되어 있으며 나사지지 않았다. 소방호스나 소방호스 부속기 구류에 튜브나 튜브 부속기구를 연결토록 고안되었다.
