진행방향에 대해 직각인 3개의 연결가지가 있는 이음쇠의 일종으로써,파이프 연결부는 표준파이프 나선이 있는 것과 나선이 없는 것 두 종류가 있어 파이프를 연결할 수 있도록 되어 있다. 호스 연결부는 표준화 나선인 불완전 나선 연결부가 있어 소화호스를 직접 조이는 것과 나선 없이 호스를 연결토록 된 두가지가 있고 측면 유입구를 갖춘 것도 있다. 파이프 또는 파이프 이음쇠와 소화호스나 소화호스 이음쇠의 교차 부분 연결에 사용된다.
