A thin metallic tublar shaped item with a flange at one end designed to be mounted on a shaft end to restore a scored sealing surface without the necessity of removing the shaft. A special tool to install the item with press fit is included. It also serves as a protection against deformation and damage of the item during transportation. See also BUSHING,SLEEVE.
