A flat component made of deformation-resistant material which is pivoted/shivel-mounted to the outside of a torpedo by means of hinges or pivots. It is attacked by the wake inflow/wake current when the torpedo is in motion and is designed to generate forces by power-controlled turning-out/angling which, in turn, produce or compensate pitching or yawing motions and prevent roll movements of the torpedo.
