A ring-shaped item consisting of two circular ring segments and fasteners such as screws, threaded spindles and the like. It is designed to form a rigid connection between two linearly joined torpedo sections, underwater mine sections and the like. The item is placed around the interface of the sections and tightened to the connection elements so that the inside profile of the ring segments solidly links with the outside profiles at the ends of the sections.
