An item specifically designed to provide a temporary support to maintain spacing for an electrical/electronic component such as a semiconductor, relay, or resistor during installation into the next higher assembly. It is fabricated from material which can be dissolved after installation of the electrical/electronic component leaving no electrically conductive residue.
