구성품의 표면 온도를 측정하기 위해 설계된 품목으로서 측정할 구성품에 부착된다. 이 품목은 하나의 민감한 스티커나 탭 또는 일련의 민감한 스티커나 탭을 내장한 카드일 수 있으며, 이 품목이 부착되어 있는 구성품의 표면 온도가 지정된 온도에 도달했을 때, 역행할 수 없게 색상을 변화시키도록 설계되었다. 이 품목은 환경보호를 제공하기 위하여 캡슐에 들어있으며, 자체 부착을 뒷면에 접착제가 붙어있을 수 있다. “지시기, 습도용, 카드식”은 제외한다.

An item designed to measure the surface temperature of the component upon which it is affixed. Item may be a card containing a sensitized sticker or tab, or a series of sensitized stickers or tabs, designed to irreversibly change color as a specified temperature is reached on the surface to which it is attached. It may be encapsulated to provide environmental protection. It may be backed with adhesive for self-attachment. Excludes:INDICATOR, HUMIDITY, CARD.
