A fitting having four branches in the same plane whose axes form right angles. One or more of the connections have machine threads (straight threads other than pipe or hose series) designed to accommodate a tube or are unthreaded and designed to accommodate a tube. The remaining connections are boss connections. The boss connections have internal or external machine threads and are designed to facilitate a gasket, preformed packing, washer, and the like to form a seal at the boss. It may have side inlet(s).
