“비금속제 특수형 단면”으로 제작한 품목으로서 ⑴ 조인트가 있거나 없는 특수 모양으로 만들 수 있고, ⑵ 특수한 모양으로 만들기 위해 양 끝을 서로 고정한 하나의 조각일 수 있으며 ⑶ 특정 용도에 맞게 끝을 절단하거나 이어서 정해진 길이로 제작한 곧은 품목일 수 있다. 주형으로 만든 모서리, 홈, 압력 끼워맞춤 버튼 등을 제외한 품목은 단면이 연속적이어야 한다. 이 품목은 연결한 부품간에 상대 운동이 없는 곳에 사용하기 위하여 특별히 설계되었다. “부싱, 비금속제” ; “패킹, 성형식” ; "패드, 완충용“ 및 ”봉합재, 보통형“은 제외한다. 끝의 절단면이 정사각형이면서 설치용 구멍, 홈 또는 압력 끼워맞춤 버튼이 없는 곧은 품목에 대해서는 “비금속제 특수형 단면”을 참조한다.

It may be (1) formed to a specific shape with or without joints, (2) a single piece whose ends have been secured together to form a specific shape, or (3) a straight item fabricated to a specific length for a specific application with end cuts or joints. Items, except for molded corners, slot(s), press fit buttons, and the like must be of one continuous cross section.
