진행방향에 대해 직각인 3개의 연결부가 있는 이음쇠의 일종이다. 플랜지 연결부는 다른 플랜지 연결부 또는 압축식 설치패드와 연결할 수 있도록 제조되었다. 관 연결부에는 나선이 있거나 나선없이 밋밋하게 되어 있어 관을 연결할 수 있도록 제조되었다. 보스 연결부는 외부 또는 내부나선이 있어 가스켓,예비성형팩정,와셔 등을 연결하여 보스에 봉함을 만드는데 용이하게 제조되었다. 측면 유입구를 갖춘 것도 있다. 플랜지 및 플랜지 이음쇠,관 및 이음쇠 또는 보스및 보스 이음쇠의 교차부분에서 연결하는데 사용한다.
