진행방향에 대해 직각인 3개의 연결가지가 있는 이음쇠의 일종이다. 파이프 연결부는 표준파이프 나선이 있는 것과 나선이 없는것 2종류가 있어 파이프를 연결 할 수 있도록 되어 있다. 관 연결부는 나선이 있어 여기에 관을 연결할수 있도록 된 것과 나선없는 연결부에 관을 연결하도록 제조된 것이 있다. 보스 연결부는 외부 또는 내부 나선이 있어 가스켓,예비성팩킹 ,와샤 등을 설치하여 보스에봉험을 만들기에 용이하도록 제조되었다. 파이프 및 파이프 이음쇠 관 및 이음쇠의 교차부분 연결시 사용한다.
