A device resembling a propeller, designed to be mounted on an aircraft engine shaft to absorb engine power during test or run-in, and usually to provide some airflow for engine cooling purposes. May be of adjustable, fixed or variable pitch design. The pitch angle of fixed pitch clubs cannot be changed, adjustable pitch clubs may be manually changed, variable pitch clubs can be mechanically changed while TEST CLUB is in operation. Includes aircraft propellers that are converted to test use.
