전자도금 과정중에 사용되는 양전극이며, 이것에 의해서 전류가 반대극으로 가는 도중 도금조에 들어간다. 도금물을 만들때 이 품목은 부식을 통해서 전해물속에서 일정한 양의 금속 물질을 함유한다. 양극은 반대가 된다.

A positive electrode, used in the electroplating process, by which the electric current enters the plating bath on the way to the opposite pole. When made of the plating material, it maintains constant metallic content in the electrolyte through corrosion. Anode is the opposite to cathode.
