원기둥 또는 사각형,육각형,팔각형,12각형 또는 이상 모두의 외부 둘레(나사홈 축과 평행한)를 확대 하거나 확대하지 않거나,플랜지 또는 어깨를 그리고 이상 모두를 만드는 부분으로 된 내부나사 홈이 파인 품목이다. 양끝으로 뾰족하거나 전장의 부분이나 사 홈이파여진 확대된 외부 부분을 갖지 않는 품목이다. 확대된 외부 부분(플랜지 또 는 어깨)을 갖는 품목들은 목전 길이가 나 사홈이 파였거나 전길이의 일부분이 나사 홈이 파였고 또는 양끝이 뾰족하게 되었다. 양끝이 뾰족한 품목은 양끝에 오른손 나사홈이 파인 그 둘중의 하나이다. 위의 어느 적합한 품목은 플랫의 두께나 혹은 최대 외부직경의 두배를 초과하는 길이를 갖고 있 고 "기둥,전기기계장비(POST,ELECTRICAL MECHANICLA EQUIPMENT)"로 사용한다. 그의 전체 길이를 통하여 계속적으로 나사홈이 파 여있고 같은 전 길이를 갖고 있는 외부 윤 곽선을 가진 품목의 길이는 플랫의 폭이나 또는 직경의 두배를 초과하지 않을 경우" 너트,평면(NUT,PLAIN)"으로 사용된다. 제외:NUT,PLAIN,CAP 참조:TURNBUCKLE BODY
