진행방향에 대해 직각인 3개의 연결부가 있는 이음쇠의 일종이다. 플랜지 연결부는 다른 플랜지 연결부 또는 압축식 설치 패드와 연결할 수 있도록 제조되었다. 관 연결부에는 나선이 있거나 나선없이 밋밋하게 되어 있는 관을 연결할 수 있도록 제조되었다. 측면 유입구를 갖춘것도 있다. 플랜지 및 플랜지 이음쇠 또는 관 및 관 이음쇠의 교차부분에서 연결하는데 사용한다.

A fitting having three connections with the branch connection fixed at 90 degrees (1.5705 radians) to the run. The flange connection(s) is designed to connect with another flange connection or a compression type mounting pad. The tube connection(s) has machine threads (straight threads other than pipe or hose series) designed to accommodate a tube, or is unthreaded and designed to accommodate a tube. It may have side inlet(s). It is used as a junction at the intersection of a flange or flange fitting and a tube or tube fitting.
