진행방향에 대해 직각인 3개의 연결부가 있는 이음쇠의 일종이다. 플랜지 연결부는 다른 플랜지 연결부 또는 압축식 설치패드와 연결하도록 만들어졌다. 보스 연결부는외부 또는 내부 나선을 갖추고 있으므로 가스켓, 예비성형 팩깅, 와샤 등을 연결하여 보스에 봉함을 만드는데 용이하게 되어있다. 측면 유입구를 갖춘것도 있다. 플랜지 및 플랜지 핏팅 또는 보스 및 보스핏팅과 탱크, 하우징, 발브 핏팅 등을 교차부분에서 연결하는데 사용한다 .
