흐름의 직선방향으로부터 180'이하의 각도로 배관하는데 쓰이는 이음쇠이다. 일단은 다른 플랜지 연결부나 압축식 부착용 패드와 연결할수 있도록플 랜지 연결부로 되어 있으며, 타단은 나선이 파져 있어서(파이프 호스와는 다른 직선형 나선)여기에 튜브를연결 하거나 혹은 나선이 없게 만들어져 있어서 여기에 튜브를 끼울수 있게 되어 있다. 측면이나 후부에 유입구가 있 것도 있다.

A fitting that forms an angle of less that 180 degrees (3.141 radians) from the straight flow. It has a flange connection on one end designed to connect with another flange connection, or a compression type mounting pad. The other end has machine threads (straight threads other than pipe or hose series) designed to accommodate a tube, or is unthreaded and designed to accommodate a tube. It may have side and/or heel inlet(s).
