흐름의 직선방향으로부터 180 이하의 각도로 배관하는데 쓰이는 이음쇠이다. 다른 플랜지 연결부나 압축식 부착용 패드와 연결할 수 있도록 일단은 플랜지 연결부로 되어 있으며,타단은 표준호스용 나선으로 되어 있어서 나선단 연결부의 나선없는 부분에 호스를 직접 물리거나 혹은 나선이 없이 호스를 끼울 수 있도록 만들어져 있다. 측면이나 후부에 유입구가 있는 것도 있다.

A fitting that forms an angle of less than 180 degrees (3.141 radians) from the straight flow. It has a flange connection on one end designed to connect with another flange connection, or a compression type mounting pad. The other end has standard hose threads, an incomplete part of a threaded end connection that grips the hose directly, or is unthreaded and designed toaccommodate a hose. It may have side and/or heel inlet(s).
