음극 및 양극을 띄우도록 화학적으로 처리된 종이이다. 음극지에 빛을 쪼이면 원실의 음화가 만들어지면 음극지와 양극지를 현상액을 통한 다음 같이 눌러주면 최종상이 만들어 진다. 양극지에 복사가 된다.

An item consisting of chemically treated negative and positive sheets of paper. The negative sheet, when exposed to a light source, produces a negative of the original. The negative and the positive sheets of paper are passed through a developing solution and then pressed together to form the final image. The positive sheet of paper is the copy.
