용접기의 손잡이에 전기적으로 용접에 이용될 단자가 연결 되어 있는 품목. 반대쪽 단은 용접용 철의 첨단을 수용 하게끔 되어 있다. 적분형 온도 조절 장치를 포함할 수도 있다. 전기적 에너지를 열에너지로 변환하고 열 에너지를 용적용 철의 첨단에 전달하도록 고안되었다.

An item having a terminal end with a means of being attached and electrically connected to a soldering iron handle. The opposite end has a means to accommodate a soldering iron tip. It may include an integral thermostatic control. It is designed to transfer electrical energy into heat and to transfer the heat to a soldering iron tip.
