날줄 방향으로 두드러진 줄무늬를 갖고있는 무겁고 조밀하게 짠 천으로서 일반적으로 날줄은 합사이고 씨줄은 단사이다. 씨줄의 실번수는 통상 210에서 214이고 날줄은 씨 줄 번수의 약 1/4이 된다. 이 천은 한서용 의복제조에 사용한다.

A heavy, closely woven cloth with pronounced cords running warpwise. It is generally constructed from plied warp and single filling yarns. The thread count is usually 210 to 214 per inch (about 83 per centimeter) in the filling and the warp is about 1/4 of the filling. It is commonly used in the manufacture or cold weather clothing.
