지상 위 혹은 위나 아래에서 설치,검사,정 비,수리 혹은 건설작업을 하기 위한 안전한작업대를 설비하도록 제작된 자동추진식 품목이다. 작은 마루대(작업대)가 지탱 장비 한계내에 있는 어떤 수평면에서 회전할 수 있는 관절식(부픔)붐에 설치된다. 쇠막대는 쇠줄로 또는 나선형으로 작동되며,작업대 내에 혹은 차량위에 있는 기계장치로 조종 된다.

A self-propolled item designed to provide a safe working platform for overhead or overhead and below the ground level installation, inspection, maintenance, repair, or construction operation. A small floored area (working platform) is mounted on articulated booms which may be rotated in any horizontal plane within the limits of the supporting equipment. The booms are cable and/or hydraulically operated and are controlled by mechanism located within the platform and/or on the vehicle. Excludes:MAINTENANCE PLATFORM and SERVICING PLATFORM, TRACTOR MOUNTED.
