어깨루프의 형태에 알맞게 겹쳐진 물체의 띠로서 ROTC 후보생의 계급을 나타내는 휘장이 있으며, 띠의 중심에 수로 장식되었다. 띠는 어깨 루프주위에 감으며, 관 모양의 덮개로 만들기 위하여 똑딱이 단추로 고정되어 있다. 이것은 휘장 착용자의 계급이 변경되었을 때 쉽게 제거할 수 있도록 한 것이다.
품명정의(영문)
A band of material, creased to conform to the shape of a shoulder loop and having insignia representing the grade of the ROTC cadet embroidered in the center of the band. The band is folded around the shoulder loop and fastened with snap fasteners to form a tubular cover. It is readily removable when the grade of the wearer is changed.
