특정한 지점 가까이 또는 나침의 근처에 있는 코일에 전류강도를 손으로 조정하여 자석 나침의 지시에 나타나는 오차를 전자적으로 교정할 수 있는시 설을 갖춘 품목. 교정작업은 전류의 강도를 변경시키므로 발생하는 코일 주변의 전자기장의 기능에 의하여 이루어진다. 영구자석형 교정장치는 제외한다.

An item which provides facilities for electronically correcting errors in the indication of a magnetic compass by the manual adjustment of current intensity in coils which are in proximity to specific points in or near the compass. The correcting action is a function of electromagnetic field intensity about the coils, resulting from varying the current intensity. Excludes:correcting devices of the permanent magnet type.
