튜브없는 공기 타이어의 바닥 주위에 대하여 압력을 가하는데 사용되는, 장비로서, 타이어 비드를 차바퀴 가장자리로 확장시켜 공기가 새지 않도록 밀착시킨다. 공기, 유압, 나사와 마찰력식 수축띠나 압력이 작용하도록 위치된 타이어 내부에 고착되고, 팽창할 수 없는 원형 튜브로써 구성된다.

A device used to apply pressure about the tread circumference of a tubeless pneumatic tire, causing the tire beads to expand against the wheel rim to form an airtight seal. It consists of either an air, hydraulic, screw, or friction force contracted band, or of a confined, inflatable, circular tube, inside which the tire is placed for application of pressure.
