둘 혹은 그 이상의 모선봉(BUS BAR)이 있는 장치로서 둘 혹 은 그 이상의 회로차단기(CIRCUIT BRAKER)를 보호하기 위해 설치하게 되어 있으나 차단기는 포함하지 않는다. 개폐 뚜껑이위장 되어 있거나 동작부가 돌 출되어 있는 것도 있으며 이들을 덮는 덮개도 이 장치에 포함된다. 스위치, 잭, 휴즈꽂이, 회로차단기, 단자판 같은 여러가지 다른 전기장치를 조합하 도록 된 품목에 대하여는 배전반 (SWITCHBOARD)을 참조한다. 전기장치들 을 올려놓게 되어 있으나 전기 장치 자체는 포함되지 않게 되어 있는 품목에 대하여는 접속함(JUNCTION BOX)를 참조한다.

An inclosure which includes two or more BUS BAR and is designed to mount and protect two or more CIRCUIT BREAKER, but does not include the circuit breakers. It may include a cover from which the actuators protrude and/or a trim with a door(s).
