판 형태로 주입물이 든 플라스틱의 엷은 층을 성층한 품목으로서 장식용 및 더러움을 방지하기 위하여 덮어 씌우는데 사용된다. 이 품목은 고압 및 열로서 주입물이든 플라스틱 성층을 함께 압축시켜 만들어진다. 눈에 보이는 장식층 이 여러가지 색체 나입형도안을 지닌 종이, 아마포나무또는 다른 물질로 구성되어 한쪽면에 설치된다. 주입물로는 페놀 포름 알데히드와 멜라진과 같은 여러가지 가열경화성 수지로 구성 된다. 이 품목은 책상 표면과 캐비넷 및 벽 등등에 부착 하도록 설계되어 있다.

An item consisting of plastic impregnated laminations in sheet form used as a decorative and highly stain resistant covering. It is made up by pressing together plastic impregnated laminations under high pressure and heat. A visible decorative layer is provided on one side consisting of paper, linen, wood or other materials in various colors or designs. The impregnation consists of various thermosetting resins, such as phenol formaldehyde and melamine. It is designed for bonding onto table tops, cabinets, walls and the like.
