여분의 이송전력이 필요할 때나 혹은 압력이 쉽게 가해지지 않는 장소에 브레스트 드릴과 함께 사용하는 바트 스톡샹크를가진 보조공구이다. 동작시에는 이 보조공구가 구멍을 뚫으려는 가공물에 체인으로 일착되어서 자동적으로 구동이 되면 조절 가능한 마찰이 송력에 의해 드릴을 가공물속으로 이송시킨다 이 공구에는 나사 조임용 렌치가 딸려있으며, 드릴척은 딸려있 을 수도있고 없을수도 있다.
품명정의(영문)
An auxiliary tool with a bit stock shank for use with a breast drill or bit brace when extra feed power is needed or where pressure cannot be applied easily. In operation, it is rigidly attached by the chain to the item being drilled, and when driven automatically feeds drill into the work by an adjustable friction feed. A set screw wrench is furnished, and a drill chuck may or may not be furnished with the tool.
