낙하산 상의 끝자락에 안전하게 연결하도록 한쪽 끝 가까이에 구멍을 가지고 또 한쪽에는 결합용 콘 외부에 알맞도록 구멍이 있는 금속 이음쇠이다. 결합용 핀을 잡아 당겨 질때까지 밀폐위치에 끝 자락을 붙들어 두기 위하여 만들어져 있다.

A metal fitting which has an aperture(s) near one end to secure it to the end flaps of the pack and an aperture near the other end to fit over the locking cones. It is designed to hold the end flaps in a closed position until the locking pins are pulled.
