일정한 숫자의 구성품으로 기본 공통명칭은 안 가지고 있으나 특정기능을 수행하는데 필요한 품목이다. 독립적으로 공급되는 부품이나 이미 사용 단계에 있는 품목은 제외하는데 이들은 요구되는 정보에 대하여 저장된 서류를 전자적으로 주사 분석함으로써 얻는 정보제원 따위의 서류 정보를 전파하는 것을 통제하며, 실제 사용하기 위해 보내줘야 할 서류의 종류와 양을 지시해 준다.
