압축의료가스를 실린더에서 관리장비로 분배하는 과정에서 안전압력이 자동유지되도록 고안된 정밀기구. 실린더 내부압력을 나타내는 게이지와 분배되는 가스의 체적을 측정할 수 있는 유량계가 같이 붙어 있다.

A precision device designed to accept compressed medical gas from a cylinder and to deliver it to the administration apparatus at a safe pressure which is automatically maintained. It is usually furnished with a gage to indicate pressure in the cylinder and it may have a flowmeter to measure the volume of gas delivered.
